Extension Commisions

Nothing really special here but commission from a friend. Tried the finger dabbing technique Klug always used in the reliquary tower, quite handy :) Eric Klug takes the credit for the finger dabbing technique.

Visara the Dreadful Guru

Just to complete my three color EDH deck with one guru alter for each creature, I present Visara.

Avenger of Zendikar FOIL Guru

This is my first foil alter, the surface is slightly more slippery than normal cards which makes it hard to coat primers, and after coats, primers tend to rub off upon hard strokes of brush. However I like how the foil shines through the parts where I left unpainted.

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Guru

Credit goes to Eric Klug, a brilliant artist, this is his work and i just reproduced it, of course it is not nearly as good and detailed as his are, but this is for my EDH deck :).

Karn Liberated as Hellboy! The Making

Here is how it is made, and to give a better understanding of the long and eye-bashing process.

1. Poof! Goes the Karn
 2. Enter the pencil
3. Some Inking
4. Some more Inking
5. Last but definitely not least of the Ink process

Then enters the coloring, shading, some more colors and re-ink whatever is blurry, fix the background, scraping off the excess primer coatings, final touch ups and lastly, sign and coat to perfection!

Karn Liberated as Hellboy!

Previously a commission, after I told him it will take a minimum work of 5 hours, he backed out and I gladly continued the project for my EDH deck, turns out, it takes me a full 8 hours of work. I am satisfied though :)
